At the Huffington Post, Bill Gates discusses his foundation’s ongoing efforts in Africa, defending their focus on disease eradication as a cornerstone for broader improvement. “We believe that if children are healthy, they can learn, become educated, start businesses, improve their farms and help their families prosper.”
