Microsoft Employee Engagement Highlighted

January 16, 2011 at 11:03 AM

At the Huffington Post, Microsoft Global Corporate Affairs exec Pamela Passman describes the scope and substance of Microsoft’s employee giving in 2010. “[Last year] was the largest year of employee giving in Microsoft’s history, with more money donated year-on-year in absolute and per-capita basis.” Over 350,000 hours of personal time were also volunteered, she says.

The article is naturally a bit rah-rah, but lends some insight into lessons Microsoft has learned about employee involvement over the years.
