Corporate Social Responsibility Pays Off

At the Atlantic Monthly’s web site, NYU’s Marion Nestle makes the case that Coke and Pepsi’s big donations to Save the Children led to the group’s abandoning its pro-soda tax advocacy.

I suppose the bright side is, corporate contributions should rise significantly, given the kind of favorable effects they can have.
