Facebook Founder Launches Giving Site

One of the founders of Facebook – a tow-headed youngster credited by at least one magazine as the man who “got Barack Obama elected” – has launched a new venture called Jumo, which “aims to connect people with nonprofits and charitable organizations,” reports the New York Times.

It will be interesting to see if the social networking paradigm lends itself to charitable giving.
